I had this on VHS in the 90s, I didn't realise this came from the 30s! I am very grateful to the uploader for sharing this video because even though I vaguely recall watching Felix as a toddler/young child, this was something I didn't even realise I had in my memory banks until I saw this clip! I remember when I was a kid thinking that I would save my VHS tapes so that when I have children they can watch the quality stuff I grew up with, haha!

What a great cartoon . Well made and full of action.

Oh God, I used to have this on VHS when I was 7 or 8 years old. Loved watching this episode, I never got tired of it. I had no idea it was in the public domain, it's well worth downloading.

I'm surprised some nitwit hasn't jumped on it calling it left wing propaganda yet. "Why that's welfare and my hard earned paycheck paid for that goose!"
Give it time, but in the meantime enjoy Felix. He was much more generous than the skinflints of today.

Fantastic animation, Great voice acting and a excellent story line combine to great a wonderful cartoon. Felix is very cute, I wish I had him as a pet. Yes, It's suitable for kids, and is fun for adults too. Well worth downloading!

Charming older cartoon of Felix and the Goose. It's very funny and Felix and the goose are very lovable characters. Felix rescues the goose after she is stolen by pirates.

OK Felix cartoon here I guess. Here he keeps the townpeople happy by sharing the wealth he has from a goose that lays golden eggs. How or why he has this goose is never really explained. Anyways, when the goose is stolen by a pirate, Felix has to use all his prowness (and his unexplained cannon marksmanship) to get the goose back. Heck, even the goose goes into crazy territory by steering the ship at one point. And why can Felix talk and not the goose?

Im 17 and i thought that this was brand-new when i first saw it at the age of 4 , turns out my parents taped it along with little audrey and other old-classic cartoons from where ? who knows but i am sure happy that i found it and thank you thank you thank you and know that in the future ( hopefully wayyyyy in the future) in gonna get a recording of these cartoons and show it to my kids so that there raised how kids ought to be .

This is one of my all-time favorite cartoons. So many memorable moments. Felix is a wonderful combination of energy, compassion, appropriate aggression, and humor.

This is a later sound Felix toon, which means its far less interesting and creative. Felix battles Captain Kidd to win back his goose that lays golden eggs. This was a genuine return to my child hood. Felix was one of my favorite cartoon characters and this show brought back thoughts of sitting in front of the TV on a wintery saturday morning with my feet proped on top of the heating duct for warmth.
The film copy retains a good amount of color and the "flicker" from the 13 frames per second projection speed adds to the experience.
